The heart of Oblix is turning imagery into measured, defensible progress: reading a weekly 360° capture and saying, surface by surface, what got built. As an AI & Computer Vision Engineer you build the models that make that call — and make it hold up.

What you’ll do

  • Develop computer-vision and ML models for work-surface segmentation, change and progress detection, and 3D understanding of captured sites.
  • Build the training and evaluation pipeline around them, and take models from prototype to production on real, messy site data.
  • Own quality: coverage checks, accuracy against ground truth, and the metrics that decide whether a model ships.
  • Work with backend and product to turn model output into numbers a customer will trust.

What we’re looking for

  • Solid ML and computer-vision foundations — deep learning, segmentation/detection, evaluation done rigorously.
  • Strong Python and a deep-learning framework (PyTorch or similar).
  • Experience taking a model beyond a notebook into something that runs in production.
  • Cairo-based, hybrid.

Nice to have

  • 3D vision — SLAM, photogrammetry, NeRF or Gaussian splatting.
  • Experience with large-scale or real-world imagery, and the mess that comes with it.
  • Geospatial data, or MLOps and model-serving experience.
